Compliance & Outreach Coordinator

Compliance & Outreach Coordinator for Pitkin County Solid Waste Center. We are seeking an individual who is desires to utilize their skills in an innovative culture that values honesty, integrity, and customer service. This position delivers public education and outreach and ensures regulatory compliance for all Solid Waste Center programs. This highly visible representative of Pitkin County acts creatively to inspire development of community relationships.

Applicants need to be proficient in MS Office and Adobe. Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Education, Natural Resources Management or related discipline or relevant experience in related discipline, and at least 2 years of related experience in education, environmental science, environmental education, natural resource, public lands, solid waste management, or related field; or combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Starting salary is $21.63 - $25.96 per hour plus excellent benefit package with an hourly salary range up to $28.59.
