The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is on tour again, and making a stop at Denver's Sie FilmCenter on January 25! The evening will include award-winning environmental and outdoor adventure films from around the world that have been selected not only for their great visual stories, but also to inspire and motivate us to continue the cause to keep the Rocky Mountains wild.
The film festival is made by activists for activists and sits apart from the hundreds of festivals around the world by leaving you feeling inspired and motivated to go out and make a difference in your community and the world.
The films start promptly at 7 pm, but before that, there is an opening reception from 5:30-7 pm. During the reception, you can speak with some of the filmmakers, and take part in direct actions in our Citizens Action Hub! The Hub will feature a myriad of direct actions you can take from local non-profits.
Also this year, the Hub will feature a listening booth where you can listen to finished segments of the Wild I-70 Audio Tour project -" a new educational project from Rocky Mountain Wild. The Wild I-70 Audio Tour introduces listeners to the wildlife and environments beyond their windshield. Quirky stories, unusual facts, and science help explain how lynx, wolves, humans, and more use this important movement corridor.
A link to get your tickets will be here once they are available.
