Solid Waste User Fee Stakeholder Meeting

Resulting from House Bill 10-1329

CDPHE is preparing to initiate the Solid Waste User Fee regulatory stakeholder process resulting from House Bill 10 1329.

These rules will be promulgated by the Solid and Hazardous Waste Commission. This Commission meets quarterly in February, May, August, and November. Right now, the department is hoping to be able to have the rulemaking hearing for these rules at the November 2010, Commission meeting. For public notice reasons, this means that we have to finish an essentially final version of the rules by September 31, 2010 for publication by the Secretary of State. In addition, CDPHE expects to have an information briefing with the Commission during their August 2010 meeting. This is the same schedule discussed during the legislative stakeholder meetings. To get there, CDPHE has set up a series of stakeholder meetings to develop the draft regulations as follows:

June 28 8:30 - 10:30 am @ CDPHE Room C1A

July 22 9:00 - 11:00 am @ CDPHE Room C1A

August 13 9:00 - 11:00 am @ CDPHE Room C1A

September 9 9:00 - 11:00 am @ CDPHE Room C1A

Everyone is invited to participate in these meetings and CDPHE will send out reminders for these meetings a week or so in advance. on this list for future emails from CDPHE, please forward your email address to Charles Johnson and he will be happy to add you to the master list.
